The Universal Declaration of Human Rights
With all the violence and opression of individuals and communities going on in the world, as well as the current state of affairs, I found some relevant truths within this video to bring things back into a broader perspective. To remind myself, and perhaps others of the basics of what kind of society we have a right to be a part of and exist within.
The video is well done and cleverly animated. One of the segments made me feel a little dizzy and I found it a bit annoying at first. Nonetheless, it didn't last too long, and it ended up creating the form of a house. So, this segment was actually enjoyable along with the rest of the video.
The end of the video brought my attention to some of what's going on in Burma and the plight of Aung San Su Chi / Aung San Suu Kyi, the democratically elected leader of Burma. She has spent more than 11 of the past 19 years in some form of detention under Burma's military regime.
If you're interested in finding out more about Aung San Su Chi, check out this link to the BBC news:

I found a petition site to free Aung San Suu Kyi at: thepetitionsite.com .
I was happy to find this resource and I added my signature to the petition to free Aung San Suu Kyi. Please do the same if you feel so inclined. Thanks!
