Lorna Li (Green Marketing 2.0), and Steve Morozumi (sfenthusiast) had a blast hangin' out with Deb Berman and interviewing her for this Green Marketing 2.0/sfenthusiast promo vid. They were at the premiere sustainability conference, West Coast Green this past weekend shooting this video. Lorna set it up so that they could be at the West Coast Green conference doing other fun stuff and shoot this promo video to promote Deb Berman's Justmeans conference at the same time. Pure genius! Lorna Li and Steve Morozumi will be at the Justmeans conference doing video coverage on Mon. 10/19/09. Come join Green Marketing 2.0 and sfenthusiast at the conference! It'll be a blast!

What is it?

sfenthusiast is a grassroots community network starting out in The Castro/Upper Market district. We are enthusiastic about San Francisco, it's merchants, artists, musicians, organizations, individuals, community, and more!

"Before we are customers, clients, and owners, we are people. People in community. We all have wants and dreams that can be synergized in community, empowerment, and collaboration to create our dreams in our lives greater than we could alone."

-Steve Morozumi
(Visionary and Founder of sfenthusiast)

PROPOSAL

WHAT WE CAN DO TOGETHER IN COLLABORATION AND COMMUNITY:

"ALL THERE IS, IS RELATIONSHIP." - SPIRIT OF LIFE INSTITUTE

Within the sfenthusiast community network, it's not about competition. It's about collaboration amongst different businesses and organizations! Take a look at the current sfenthusiast guide book for collaboration by John C. Maxwell (over there to the right, and down). We can leverage our power and excellence so that everyone can win, win, win. If we are being in abundance, that is what we will get. If we are being in scarcity, then that is what we will get. Let's choose abundance together!

Every business/org./individual does some thing or some things in a great way. What we are here to do within the sfenthusiast community network is to create lots of exposure and enthusiasm around these strengths and showcase them on the local, state, national, and global levels!

sfenthusiast, IT'S NOT JUST A NAME, IT'S WHO WE ARE.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights

With all the violence and opression of individuals and communities going on in the world, as well as the current state of affairs, I found some relevant truths within this video to bring things back into a broader perspective. To remind myself, and perhaps others of the basics of what kind of society we have a right to be a part of and exist within.

The video is well done and cleverly animated. One of the segments made me feel a little dizzy and I found it a bit annoying at first. Nonetheless, it didn't last too long, and it ended up creating the form of a house. So, this segment was actually enjoyable along with the rest of the video.

The end of the video brought my attention to some of what's going on in Burma and the plight of Aung San Su Chi / Aung San Suu Kyi, the democratically elected leader of Burma. She has spent more than 11 of the past 19 years in some form of detention under Burma's military regime.

If you're interested in finding out more about Aung San Su Chi, check out this link to the BBC news:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/1950505.stm

I found a petition site to free Aung San Suu Kyi at: thepetitionsite.com .

I was happy to find this resource and I added my signature to the petition to free Aung San Suu Kyi. Please do the same if you feel so inclined. Thanks!
